About Marc, Designer of your company's digital future

After completing my studies in Business Informatics at Otto-Friedrich University in Bamberg, I began my professional career as a consultant at Siebel Systems (now Oracle), the former global leader in CRM software. It was an exciting and educational three years as a consultant and project manager in CRM implementation projects across Europe. In 2004, I co-founded a software startup for Customer Communication Management (CCM) in Karlsruhe with partners. Over the course of more than 10 years, I successfully built the company in my roles as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Product Officer (CPO). Notable milestones included the early and successful adoption of agile methods and the transformation into a SaaS/Cloud-based solution. Our products were adopted by renowned companies like Deutsche Telekom, Swisscom, and RWE. In 2014, our company was acquired by Actuate (now OpenText), a NASDAQ-listed company, becoming the market leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Customer Communication Management. In 2014 and 2015, I worked as an IT Interim Manager for a digital logistics marketplace. From 2015, I founded and served as the CEO of treaction, a startup specializing in digital marketing and developer of a SaaS solution for email marketing and marketing automation. In 2022, both business areas, the digital marketing agency, and the SaaS technology segment were sold in asset deals. Since mid-2022, I’ve been working as a freelance consultant for reputable clients such as Hugo Boss, Bundescloud (private Cloud Federal government of Germany) and others.
